General Information

Introduction

Poster presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts. Emphasis for selection of poster presentations will be on research involving esthetic dentistry, color education or training, color science and its applications, or clinical techniques and materials. If you are involved in work related to color and appearance in esthetic dentistry, we urge you to submit an abstract for consideration for poster presentation at the inaugural meeting of the Society of Color and Appearance in Dentistry to be held in Newport Beach, CA on September 24-25, 2010 at the Fairmont Hotel.

Persons submitting an abstract for the General Session are doing so with the understanding that they must abide by the following policies

• You may only present one abstract. You may appear as a co-author on an unlimited number of abstracts
• Presenters do not have to be a member of the SCAD
• You may not present previously published or presented work. All presenters are required to pre-register by September 1, 2010.
• Failure to pre-register will result in your abstract being withdrawn from the meeting.
• The official language of the meeting and all communications will be in English

Registration Fees

All presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fees. Please note that membership dues must be paid in full on or before the pre-registration deadline.

Abstract Submission Deadline: August 1, 2010 (11:59 pm PST); Abstract Replacement Period Deadline: August 5, 2010 (11:59 pm PST); PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE or REJECTION NOTIFICATION: You will be notified by email of provisional acceptance or rejection by August 15, 2010. Please be sure to use a valid, long-term E-mail address when submitting your abstract as this E-mail address will be used for all further communications from the SCAD.
