The Color of Esthetics – Invitation

Dear Colleague:

We are delighted to inform you about the creation of the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (SCAD). The Society will link people from practice, research, industry, and dental educators interested in color and appearance in esthetic dentistry. The SCAD Executive Committee cordially invites you to become an Associate Member and to join us at the Society’s inaugural meeting entitled,"The Color of Esthetics" (dress code: business casual). The meeting will be held in Houston, Texas, on July 17-18, 2009, at Houston Hobby Airport Marriott. Please note that there is no need to contact the hotel directly unless you need more than one room.

The meeting will feature high-quality, evidence-based information on color-related issues in dentistry presented by many of the leaders in this field. The list of confirmed presenters is given below. Attendees will earn 12 credit hours of continuing education. We also invite you to submit an abstract for a poster presentation at the meeting (not a requirement for attendance). Poster submission form is available on our website (www.scadent.org).

We look forward to seeing you in Houston and promise you that you will have a lot of fun with old and new friends in a relaxed Texan atmosphere.
