2010 SCAD Meeting at Newport Beach

Bridging the Gap, Pioneering the Future

Dear Colleague,

The Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (SCAD) is a link among clinicians, researchers, industry, and dental educators interested in color and appearance in esthetic dentistry.

SCAD is dedicated to bring you one of the best meetings on esthetic dentistry in the world for 2010! The SCAD Executive Board cordially invites you to become a member and to join us at our second annual meeting at the Fairmont Hotel (also see the information below), Newport Beach, California on September 24-25, 2010. Please see the membership application and meeting registration for more details. John Wayne Airport (SNA), Orange County, California, is the closest airport to the meeting venue and has free shuttle service to/from the hotel.

The meeting will feature high-quality, evidence-based information on color-related issues in dentistry presented by many of the leaders in this field. Please see the program for the list of already confirmed presenters. All attendees will receive 16 credit hours of continuing education. We also invite you to submit abstract(s) for a poster presentation at SCAD 2010 meeting (not a requirement for attendance).

The second issue of our journal entitled, “Journal of Color and Appearance in Dentistry,” will be published this year. We believe that submission to the new peer-reviewed, professional journal with high impact factor will be appealing to you.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Newport Beach.

Best regards,

Rade D. Paravina, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D.

President, Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry
